AeroBrowse Signature Edition
A short history of AeroBrowse…
Seven years ago, Pudince released AeroBrowse into the world on Windows 7 devices. AeroBrowse was met with critical acclaim for it’s (then) simplistic design and compatibility with IE legacy sites, but still maintaining modern web standards. AeroBrowse Metro Preview was released for Windows 8 in 2012, being the last PC version of the browser to be released.
AeroBrowse was developed for Windows Phone 8 in 2013 and Windows Phone 8.1 in 2014. Both products were extremely successful and managed to claim over 12% share of the Windows mobile browser market – a feat only accomplished by AeroBrowse and UC Browser.
AeroBrowse has not been available on PCs since 2012’s “Preview” release for Windows 8.
Welcome to AeroBrowse (Beta) Preview
Pudince is happy to announce that AeroBrowse is now available on the Universal Windows Platform. This app will be available on Windows 10 PCs, Tablets and Mobile Phones. But we didn’t just want to port our Windows Phone version over… we wanted to let you build your own browser.
For the first time in AeroBrowse history, our Beta for the Windows 10 app will be available for download shortly. This app will be the very first look at AeroBrowse UWP technology. We invite you to provide us with feedback, suggestions, send us your code – your mockups, your concepts… all using the built in Feedback tool. We want this to be built and developed by you.
The AeroBrowse experiment for the Universal Windows Platform puts the design, function and features of the AeroBrowse browser in the hands of those who use it. Send feedback using the in-app feedback feature and watch as AeroBrowse really becomes the first browser built for you, by you.
